ABOUT CAR OF THE YEAR

Robb Report's Car of the Year South Florida puts guests into the driver’s seat for what many automotive enthusiasts dream of: the chance to become a Robb Report Automotive Editor! You'll test drive the greatest models back-to-back, share your commentary on design, performance, and luxury (you might even be quoted in our February issue!), and cast your vote to ultimately shape the 2026 automotive landscape.

The official lineup for Car of the Year 2026 has not yet been announced, but check back soon for updates. In the meantime, we invite you to explore last year's contenders below.

Over the Years

Robb Report’s editors never could have imagined that what began as a casual gathering of a few pals and fun cars would grow into an internationally recognized automotive competition, attended annually by hundreds of car enthusiasts over the course of several weeks—but here we are. Robb Report's Car of the Year started almost 22 years ago with modest ambitions and nary a thought that it would develop into not just an eagerly anticipated date on our editorial calendar but also a storied tradition.
